STALLINGS, N.C. (WBTV) – A Mecklenburg County woman won $250,000 from a scratch-off.

Kimberly Mahon of Matthews tested her luck on a $5 ticket from Stallings Superette on Potters Road.

She claimed her prize at lottery headquarters Wednesday and, after taxes, took home $178,751.
