Not funny – WPD searching for suspect after comic book store theft

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Wilmington Police Department is looking for a suspect believed to be connected to a theft.

Wilmington police are searching for this suspect wanted for stealing items from Memory Lane Comics at 201 Princess St….

Items were stolen from Memory Lane Comics (201 Princess Street) on February 1 just before six o’clock in the evening. Shortly after the alleged theft, a man left the area on a green bike that had two pedals and a motor.

Anyone who may have been in the area and remembers seeing something, or recognizes the person in the picture provided by the department can contact the Wilmington Police at 910-343-3609 or us the Wilmington, NC PD app to send information anonymously.
