WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Wilmington police arrested three men Saturday night after a shooting.
According to WPD, at around 10:30 officers were patrolling the area of Houston Moore when they witnessed a vehicle pull up and begin shooting in the direction of the 1400 block of Greenfield Street.
The officers pursued the vehicle and ended up stopping it, and taking three people into custody.
Jacob Michael Beck, 21, is charged with Failure to Heed Lights/Sirens. He received a $20,000 secured bond.
Khalil Jerrod Hardy, 21, is charged with Discharging Firearm in City Limits, Possession of Stolen Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He received a $200,000 secured bond.
Kevon Lamonta Bracey, 22, is charged with Discharging Firearm in City limits and Possession Firearm by Felon. He received a $200,000 secured bond.
Officers found three spent shell casings and a large amount of marijuana inside the vehicle. They also recovered a bag of cocaine, a stolen firearm, a handgun, and the handgun’s magazine — all of which police say was thrown from the vehicle in areas nearby.
At the scene where the shots were fired, it was discovered a vehicle had been struck in front of a home. Luckily, there were no victims.
