WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Wave Transit officials will host a virtual town hall on Thursday to gather input and suggestions on the transportation needs of people with disabilities and older adults of the greater Wilmington area.

“Feedback collected during the virtual town hall event, web survey efforts currently underway, focus group meetings and interviews with key stakeholders and community members will be used to update Wave Transit’s 2021 Locally Coordinated Transportation Plan,” a news release stated.

That plan will help Wave identify the needs of those with disabilities and older adults and help with strategies to fulfill those needs, as well as prioritize projects and services for funding and implementation.

If you have any questions, contact Wave Transit at 910-202-2045 or email vlacer@wavetransit.com
