LONGWOOD, N.C. (WECT) – The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman who allegedly robbed the Dollar General in Longwood at gunpoint Wednesday morning.
Officials say Summer Odell, 27, threatened a store clerk with a small black handgun and stole approximately $200 in cash.
After the alleged robbery, the sheriff’s office said Odell was going door-to-door in the southern part of the county asking if she could use the phone.
She was eventually captured without incident Thursday morning in the Brunswick Plantation community near Calabash.
