SURF CITY, N.C. (WECT) – The Surf City Town Council tabled the decision about paid parking at a meeting on Tuesday, February 2 citing the need for further public input.
A drop-in session has been scheduled Friday, February 12, 2021 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. for members of the public to speak with town staff about parking.
The Council will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. following the public input session on Feb 12 to discuss how public parking will be implemented.
The Town will then spend several weeks gathering the necessary information for implementing a paid parking program.
