SOUTHPORT, N.C. (WECT) – The local ferry is running on a one-boat schedule Saturday due to mechanical issues.
That’s according to a tweet early Saturday morning.
The Southport-Fort Fisher ferry route is running a one-boat schedule today due to mechanical issues. Departures from SP: 7:00, 8:30, 10:00 11:30, 1:00, 2:30, 4:00, 6:15, Departures from FF: 7:45, 9:15, 10:45, 12:15, 1:45, 3:15, 4:45, 7:00. For more info 910-477-5200

The ferry also ran on a one-boat schedule Friday. Several runs were also canceled due to mechanical issues.
