Silver Alert issued for missing Columbus County man

COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A missing man who triggered a Silver Alert has been found, according to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
Chief Deputy Aaron Herring said Markell Dashan Gore was found safe and is at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Due to hospital policy, no other information was released about his condition.
Gore, 22, went missing on Thursday.
