Pender County missing teen located and returned home safe

According to the sheriff’s office, Ameer Deshawn Johnson was last seen by his guardian on Wednesday, June 15. He was supposed to return on June 17.(Pender Co. Sheriff’s Office)

PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The Pender County Sheriff’s Office has located a missing 17-year-old following a missing person release on June 20.

According to the sheriff’s office, Ameer Deshawn Johnson was declared missing after he did not return when he was supposed to on June 17. As of Tuesday night, the PCSO writes that he has been located and is safe at home.
