CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – The town of Carolina Beach announced on Tuesday that paid parking for this year will begin on March 1 — one month earlier than in previous years.
Town-managed parking lots will be $5/hour or $20/day; untimed parking meters will be $5/hour or $20/day; timed parking meters will be $3/hour with a maximum of two hours allowed.
Paid parking will be enforced 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, until Oct. 31.
“Carolina Beach property owners, permanent residents, and frequent visitors can purchase their 2021 annual parking decal now and avoid the last minute rush. Decals can be obtained in person at Town Hall during normal business hours and can also be purchased online at your convenience,” the town stated in a news release.
