Officials identify victim of fatal fire in Chadbourn

COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Columbus County officials have identified the man who died in a fire last week.
According to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, 84-year-old Russell McCallister was killed in a fire at 944 Tommie Wooten Road in Chadbourn on Jan. 9.
Authorities found McCallister dead inside when arrive.
