CDC recommends masks in public settings

SOUTHEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA (WECT) – Less than 900 people currently are being hospitalized for COVID-19 in North Carolina, according to numbers released Monday by the NCDHHS.
According to the latest numbers, there have been 172,209 laboratory-confirmed cases in North Carolina and 2,803 deaths. There currently are 858 people being hospitalized.
Here is the confirmed case breakdown for southeastern North Carolina:
At least 113 deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported in the Cape Fear region:
- Columbus County – 52
- Brunswick County – 24
- New Hanover County – 23
- Bladen County – 10
- Pender County – 4
