WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A wreck near the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge kept traffic heading out of Wilmington at a standstill for more than an hour Wednesday morning.
The wreck happened at approximately 8:30 a.m. and involved three vehicles.
There were no serious injuries reported.
Westbound lanes reopened shortly after 9:30 a.m.
Wilmington police officials say that charges likely are forthcoming.
