UPDATE: Missing Brunswick County man located, safe

ASH, N.C. (WECT) – The Brunswick County man reported missing on New Year’s Eve has been found and is safe, according to a post Friday evening on the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

Mathew Jordan Norris, 35, was reported missing from the Ash area around 1 p.m., New Year’s Eve and was believed to be driving a 2002 dark green Ford F-150.

The truck has “Evans mobile home escort” on rear glass on both sides. The truck has a silver tool box, wide load taped on the back tail gate, and caution lights on back corner of the truck.

Norris is six feet tall and weighs around 210 pounds.
