A car was partially crushed under a tractor-trailer during a crash on U.S. 421 near the overpass with I-140 on Thursday.

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A car was partially crushed under a tractor-trailer during a crash on U.S. 421 near the overpass with I-140 on Thursday.
According to the responding NC State Highway Patrol trooper, the call came in at about 12:39 p.m. on Feb. 2. The driver of the 18-wheeler was cited for failure to yield, and the driver of the car was cited for not having their headlights on.
Nobody involved in the crash had life-threatening injuries.
