BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Brunswick County Schools Board of Education voted Tuesday to start the upcoming school year with 100% online learning for the first four- and one-half weeks.
Remote learning is mandatory for all students for that initial period; the daily schedule for remote learning will be determined by each school based on teachers’ schedules.
Families wanting their students to continue virtual learning for the full semester need to sign up here by Thursday July 23 at 8 a.m.
Remote Instruction Plan details can be found here.
Meanwhile, school and district administrators will continue preparations for the remote learning kick-off to the school year.
Once the initial remote learning period is complete, the A/B plan for in-person learning will begin.
More details will be posted when available.
