WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The initiative known as Downtown Alive, that was created to help bring more business to Downtown Wilmington is coming to a close today.
Earlier this month, the Wilmington City Council approved the allocation of over five-thousand-dollars to continue the downtown alive program.
The program began over the summer to help businesses bring in more people, especially for those who felt more comfortable eating outside. Downtown Alive begins at 10 this morning and wraps up at around 5:30 p.m.
