WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The City of Wilmington announced on Wednesday, Aug. 14, that the Legion Stadium Pool has been closed for the rest of the summer.

The city says the closure is due to mechanical issues.

All future programming, including Pooch Plunge, will now take place at Robert Strange Park Pool (401 S. 8th St).

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We’ll provide an update when it reopens. If you have questions, please contact 910-899-7332,” a city announcement states.
