WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – JetBlue has announced they will be starting service at the Wilmington International Airport (ILM).
According to the announcement, the airline will be offering daily nonstop service between ILM and Boston (BOS) from April 30 to Oct. 25.
“We’re excited to bring JetBlue’s award-winning service to Wilmington this spring, connecting travelers to the vibrant city of Boston,” said Dave Jehn, vice president of network planning and airline partnerships at JetBlue.
The flights will be operating on JetBlue’s A220, which offers “wider seats, large windows and overhead bins, as well as the latest tech and entertainment in-flight.”
Jeff Bourk, the ILM Airport Director, says it’s exciting a new carrier will be added to ILM.
“JetBlue’s nonstop service to Boston gives travelers even more ways to fly to Boston and all their great connections including many international connections to Europe. We are thrilled to have this affordable customer-focused airline here at ILM and thank JetBlue for investing in Wilmington,” said Bourk.
