BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – An investigation continues after authorities found a missing woman dead near Bolivia, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
Per the BCSO, authorities received a call Tuesday morning, July 16, in reference to a woman who may be missing in a wooded area near Colonial Landing in Bolivia.
137 people from 18 agencies assisted in the search, which resulted in the discovery of the body of 32-year-old Alba Jo Doreen Wade.
Authorities expressed that there is no danger to the public and that the investigation remains open.
“We would like to express our sympathies to the family and loved ones of Ms. Wade as well,” the BCSO adds.
