ILM Football Club announces inaugural season and tryouts
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Wilmington’s soccer scene is expanding with the newly established ILM Football Club (ILM FC).
According to a press release from ILM FC, the soccer team will launch its first season with home games at Cape Fear Academy this spring. ILM FC will be representing New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender Counties.
“ILM Football Club is more than just a team—it’s a movement. We are here to unite our city through the beautiful game, giving local players the opportunity to compete at a high level while fostering a strong sense of pride and community,” said Spencer Goodman, Owner of ILM FC.
ILM FC will host open tryouts on Feb. 15 at 3:00 p.m. at Cape Fear Academy.
