TABOR CITY, N.C. (WECT) – WECT is in Tabor City ahead of the North Carolina Yam Festival!

From art displays, parades, a cooking contest and more, we’re celebrating all things yam! Tune in to WECT News at 5, 5:30 and 6 p.m. to preview the fun, history and relevance of the NC Yam Festival.

The festival will be in full swing on Saturday, Oct. 26.
