Celebrity chef Mario Batali went on trial on Monday. The famed foodie is accused of inappropriately touching a woman who had asked for a selfie. Batali listened intently in court as the woman testified. She says he assaulted her at a Boston bar in 2017. His accuser chose not to go on camera as she described what happened. If convicted in this case, Batali faces up to 2-and-a-half years behind bars, and would have to register as a sex offender.
