JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Tuesday morning will start off with patchy frost and temperatures just above freezing. Sunny skies with highs in the lower 60s are likely Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday will be in the middle to high 60s with sunshine. Friday through Sunday will be unsettled with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s and a daily chance for showers and a few thunderstorms. Instability will be lacking, so severe storms seem unlikely for the time being. Next week will stay unsettled with cooler high temperatures near 60 degrees. The average high is 60 and the average low is 38 this time of year. Sunrise is 6:51am and the sunset is 5:38pm.
