WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Your First Alert Forecast for this evening includes the approach of a weak cold front may drop additional clusters or lines of storms in from the northwest. Any cells may be locally heavy, gusty, and rich with lightning. Most storms should push off the coast of 1 to 2 a.m. Unsettled conditions continue through Saturday with plenty of dry time and occasional downpours and heavy thunderstorms. Thunderstorm chances tick back into the isolated category for the most part next week as highs remain in the seasonable range near 90.
