First Alert Forecast: seasonable heat and storm chances, then some changes…

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Your First Alert Forecast opens with high temperatures in the seasonably sizzling 90s and 30% cooling storm chances Tuesday. A system will bring higher odds for rainclouds and draw highs back to the 80s by Friday.

New tropical storm development is unlikely across the Atlantic Basin through at least midweek. In the same time, the rainy remnants of Hurricane Beryl will climb into the Ohio Valley and eastern Great lakes and bypass the Carolinas to the west.
