JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Tonight: Patchy drizzle will continue throughout this evening. A few light showers will develop later on tonight and into the overnight hours. Any of the leftover showers will move out by early Monday morning.
Monday: Most of your Monday will stay dry as temperatures warm up in the upper 50s. Partly cloudy skies will continue throughout the afternoon and begin to clear out heading into the evening. This will allow temperatures to fall into the middle 30s overnight.
Extended forecast: We will be back into a dry stretch for a good portion of this upcoming week. Temperatures will top out in the middle and upper 60s with plenty of sunshine expected by the middle of this week. This dry stretch will come to an end, however, as another system moves through come Friday. We will get a break from the rain at the start to the weekend, but another batch of rain is expected by Sunday. This is still a ways out and we should get a better indication on timing as we get closer to the end of this week.
