WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Your First Alert Forecast opens with a nice Wednesday across the Cape Fear Region with fair and dry skies, light and pleasant breezes, and temperatures swelling to the 80s after the 60s first thing. Thursday looks like a close rerun.
Highlights in the longer range include nonzero rain chances returning as soon as Friday and 90+ temperatures mixing back in for “back to school” next week. Rip current and tropical storm threats ought to keep a lower profile for a while, but please check in day to day!
