Fire crews respond to crash on I-140, lane reopens

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – New Hanover County Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle crash on I-140 Wednesday night, July 31.

According to fire officials, the eastbound lane was shut down near Castle Hayne Road as crews worked on scene.

The lane has since reopened, per the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
