CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – A house fire broke out in Carolina Beach Sunday, Aug. 25.

Crews were on the scene at Fayetteville Avenue around 9 a.m. They say no one was in the house when the fire started.

A neighbor was the one who called emergency services. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
