A family was displaced by a house fire at 111 Water’s Edge Drive in Hampstead on Sunday, July 7, according to Pender County Fire Marshal Amy Burton.

HAMPSTEAD, N.C. (WECT) – A family was displaced by a house fire at 111 Water’s Edge Drive in Hampstead on Sunday, July 7, according to Pender County Fire Marshal Amy Burton.

The first call came in about the fire at 6:49 p.m.

According to Burton, the fire significantly damaged the house, but nobody was injured.

Red Cross is assisting, and fire crews are still investigating the fire Monday morning. No cause has been determined so far.
