BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – While patrolling N.C. 87, a Bladen County Sheriff’s Office vehicle was damaged by a falling tree Wednesday, Aug. 7, according to the BCSO.

“Both Deputies walked away with no injuries however, the patrol car has a busted windshield. The two Deputies were able save multiple vehicle from hitting the tree head on due to the obstructed area the tree fell in. Please keep all involved in your prayers,” the release from the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office states.
