PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – English as a Second Language courses will be offered by Cape Fear Community College this fall in Pender County, according to an announcement from the college.
Per CFCC, the classes will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 27 through Nov. 21, at Cape Fear Middle School, 1866 NC 133 in Rocky Point. Classes will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night
“This course is designed to help nonnative English speakers improve their language skills, enabling them to better integrate into the community and enhance their employment opportunities,” CFCC states.
Classes are open to anyone over the age of 18 who is seeking to improve their English proficiency. Those looking to participate must register in advance and attend an orientation. To do so, interested individuals are asked to contact Cindy Fischer at 910-362-7184 or cfisher@cfcc.edu.
