ELIZABETHTOWN, N.C. (WECT) – A man was killed early Saturday morning, Aug. 10, in Elizabethtown, according to the town’s police department.

Per the Elizabethtown PD, Jabral Rogers was killed sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. in the area of Gill Street and Martin Luther King Drive. Police are now asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate the homicide.

“If you were in the vicinity during that time, or if you have any information regarding Mr. Rogers or his death, we urge you to come forward. Any details, no matter how small, could be crucial to solving this case,” the EPD states.

“Your cooperation is essential in helping us bring justice to those affected by this tragic event,” the police department adds.
