CASTLE HAYNE, N.C. (WECT) – The driver of a truck was hospitalized after crashing into the water off of N. College Road near Parmele Road Thursday morning, Aug. 29.

Per N.C. State Highway Patrol, the call about the crash came in at 9:56 a.m.

The driver was not cited and was the only person involved in the crash.
