KURE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Kure Beach Ocean Rescue is on the scene of a possible drowning near the Kure Beach Pier on Thursday afternoon, July 4.

Per the sheriff’s office, they have a boat and drone out on the scene, and the Wilmington Police Department and Coast Guard responded with boats as well.
