CASTLE HAYNE, N.C. (WECT) – A community meeting is set for Tuesday, July 30, regarding a proposed rezoning at 27.55 acres near the intersection of Castle Hayne Road and I-140.
The proposal would rezone the area for a mixed-use development, changing it from Residential (R-20) zoning to Planned Development (PD) zoning. The proposal would include a request to remove the property from the Special Highway Overlay District. It is referred to as the Moore’s Crossing Master Planned Development in the sute map from engineers.
The meeting will be held at the St. James AME Church at 3425 Castle Hayne Road at 5:30 p.m. The notice comes from BDLCT, LLC, an affiliate of the River Bluffs Development Corporation.
“For directions or for further information, or if you are unable to attend the community information meeting and have any questions, comments or concerns about this matter, please feel free to contact John Lennon at (910) 675-3440 or by email atjohn@riverbluffsliving.com, and we will be glad to speak or meet with you individually at your convenience,” the meeting notice states.
