COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Columbus County Schools is hosting a community event to gather feedback on the new East End K-8 school project.
The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the East Columbus Jr.-Sr. High School cafeteria and auditorium on Aug. 8 to help citizens shape the future of the facility that will serve the K-8 students.
“The event aims to engage parents, students, and community members in an open dialogue about the school’s design, programs, and overall vision. Each participant will provide direct feedback by considering examples of school design. Topics for feedback will include conceptual design, school identity, innovative learning spaces, and other pertinent issues. This collaborative approach underscores our commitment to creating a school that reflects the high aspirations we have for our students and our community. Everyone, regardless of location, is invited to attend,” CCS wrote in a press release.
