BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A Clarkton man is facing multiple child sex and drug charges following an investigation by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
According to BCSO, 19-year-old Willie Carthell Graham Jr. was identified as the only suspect in a report of a female juvenile who went missing on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
“Criminal investigators sprang into action, quickly gathering information from juvenile’s family. Social media played a huge factor in her recovery, as well as her disappearance. Juvenile was dropped off blocks from her home by suspect within hours of disappearance,” said BCSO.
Graham, who is currently on probation, was arrested following collaboration from the NC Division of Probation and Parole, the NC Alcohol Law Enforcement Division, and the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, according to BCSO.
BCSO says Graham faces the following charges:
- First-degree forcible rape
- First-degree forcible sex offense
- Statutory rape of a child less than 15 years old
- Statutory sex offense with a child less than 15 years old
- Sexual battery
- Contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile
- Felony in possession Schedule VI controlled substance
- Felony in possession with intent to sell or distribute a controlled substance
- Manufacture Schedule VI controlled substance
- Maintain veh/dwell/place controlled substance
Graham is currently being held without bond at the Bladen County Detention Center.
