WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) Economic and Workforce Development division is expanding its Landscaping and Horticulture courses.
According to CFCC, the courses are designed to give students hands-on skills ideal for careers in landscaping, gardening, and horticultural services.
Students can choose from the following course offerings:
- Horticulture Pest Management: Prepares students to sit for the North Carolina Commercial Pesticide Ground Applicators License exam.
- Landscape Construction: Covers essential techniques for building and maintaining outdoor landscapes.
- Plant Materials: Introduces students to plant identification, selection, and care practices for successful landscape design.
Each course is 16 weeks long and costs $190.
