Read More »BURGAW, N.C. (WECT) – The mayor of Burgaw has confirmed that a person died during this weekend’s annual North Carolina Blueberry Festival. Mayor Olivia Dawson said it happened during the “Tour de Blueberry” event on Saturday morning. The person suffered a medical emergency during the ride.
