WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A car crashed into a pillar at the Super Nails on Carolina Beach Road Monday afternoon, Aug. 19.
Per the Wilmington Police Department, the driver mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brake, and nobody was injured.
The Wilmington Fire Department is checking the column for structural integrity damage; the car didn’t make contact with any of the shopfronts beyond the column.
