WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity’s annual Golden Hammer Fundraising Breakfast is set for Friday, Feb. 23, from 8 to 9:45 a.m. at Embassy Suites, located at 9 Estelle Lee Place.
“This year, Cape Fear Habitat looks back at the accomplishments of the past and importantly, to the future of affordable housing in the Cape Fear Region. Our keynote speaker is Richard Turlington, VP of Construction at Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, NC. He will present information about Weavers Grove, their innovative mixed income development that serves as a model for future Cape Fear Habitat developments,” a Habitat for Humanity announcement states.
Other people at the event will include:

Individual tickets are $65 each for a southern breakfast. A demi-table sponsor is $825 for a half table of five and includes southern breakfast and recognition in the event program and on a photo montage. A table sponsor is $1,625 for a table of 10 along with the same benefits as the demi-table sponsor.
