BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man suspected of stealing from the Tiger Mart on Hwy 133/Hwy 87 Tuesday morning, July 9.

Per the BCSO, the man has been identified as 31-year-old Cody Wayne Watson from Yadkinville, and he is wanted for larceny of a stolen vehicle and flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle. Shanda Rose Styers, a 25-year-old also from Yadkinville, is wanted for possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The truck associated with the theft has been recovered.

“The suspect is described as a white male wearing a blue and orange tank top and swim shorts and was last seen on Governors Rd at the railroad tracks. He was in the company of a white female wearing a multi-color tank top and shorts,” the announcement states.

“Anyone with information should contact Det. Mike Murray at 910-269-1932 or call 911,” the announcement continues.
