BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The Brunswick County Health and Wellness Fair previously set for Aug. 9 will now be held on Sept. 6 at Government Center in Bolivia.

The event was delayed due to inclement weather from Tropical Storm Debby.

The event is free to attend and will feature over 30 local businesses and organizations to teach residents how to live healthier through interactive demonstrations, health screenings, activities, handouts, and more.

Demonstrations include basic first aid and CPR, child car seat safety, nutrition planning, and fitness lessons in cross-fit, yoga, and SilverSneakers. Fairgoers can also enjoy guided tours of the Brunswick County Botanical Garden, as well as a question-and-answer session with Brunswick County Master Gardenerâ„  Volunteers.

Food can be purchased from the various food trucks and fairgoers ages 5 years and older can also pay a small fee to play gellyball with Bullzeye Gellyball of Leland.
