A Red Cross blood drive is set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, in the Dillard’s Wing of Independence Mall near Aveda.(MGN)

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – An American Red Cross blood drive is set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, in the Dillard’s Wing of Independence Mall near Aveda.

The blood drive is co-sponsored by the Masonic Lodge #319, Wilmington Kiwanis and the Rotary Clubs of Wilmington.

The Red Cross is at a 20-year low in blood supply. Anybody who donates this month will get a $20 Amazon gift card.

You can sign up for the drive by typing the sponsor code “ROTARY WILMINGTON” into the search bar on the Red Cross website.
