Columbus County Schools, Bladen County Schools and Whiteville City Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for staff and students on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

COLUMBUS CO., N.C. (WECT) – Columbus County Schools, Bladen County Schools and Whiteville City Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for staff and students on Tuesday, Feb. 13, due to windy conditions.

“Buses may not travel when winds reach 35-40 MPH,” Columbus County Schools announced. “High wind gusts are expected in excess of this limit during the morning hours on Tuesday.”

Bladen County Schools says that if there are further changes needed to the schedule, it will provide an update no later than 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
