WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – On this Father’s Day edition of Backyard BBQ, WECT Anchor Bill Murray and John Barbara with Wilmington Grill make some steaks.

- Before cooking, let steaks rest and come to room temperature. While steaks are resting, preheat grill to high temperature setting.
- Once steaks are at room temperature, season to desired liking.
- Once grill is hot at around 500-600 degrees, put steaks on hot grill, cook to desired temperature, flipping steaks as needed. Cooking time will vary depending on thickness of the steaks.
- Once steaks are at desired temperature, remove steaks from grill and allow to rest.
- Once steaks are rested, enjoy!
