CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WECT) – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on July 2 announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to charges for the people involved in a burglary on Monday, July 1.
“On Monday after 3:00 a.m., the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office responded to a break-in at Heritage Guns, located at 5202 Carolina Beach Rd. Suspects gained entrance by driving a vehicle into the storefront. Investigators believe several suspects entered the business and left with multiple firearms. The vehicle used in the break-in is believed to have been stolen from the Charlotte area. The vehicle is a Hyundai sedan with a license plate reading JDM5507,” an ATF announcement states.
