CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – The Carolina Beach Mural Project is looking for artists to participate in the second annual CB MuralFest.

According to the organization, the theme for this year’s event is “Livin’ Carolina Beach” and reflects the spirit, culture and coastal lifestyle of the town.

The festival will feature 36 original art pieces that will be painted live and put on display throughout the summer. All paintings will be auctioned off in September, with half of the proceeds going to the artists.

The event will also include artist tents, food trucks and live music.

The second annual CB MuralFest is set to take place on May 16 and 17 at the Carolina Beach Lake.
